Epilepsy Alliance Florida is committed to raising awareness and promoting prevention through our comprehensive prevention and education services offered throughout Florida. Our dedicated team delivers informative presentations and resources in English, Spanish, and Creole languages, ensuring accessibility for diverse communities across the state.
Targeted groups and outreach efforts
We strive to reach a wide range of individuals and organizations, providing tailored presentations and educational materials to promote understanding and support for those affected by epilepsy. Our targeted groups include:
- Schools: We provide engaging presentations for both students and personnel, raising awareness about epilepsy, seizure recognition, and appropriate responses.
- Professionals: Our outreach extends to professionals throughout the community, including physicians, attorneys, police officers, emergency medical services personnel, and healthcare professionals. Through specialized training sessions, we equip these professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to support individuals with epilepsy in their respective fields.
- Community-Based Organizations: We collaborate with community-based organizations, with a special emphasis on health and social service agencies.
