Instead, Jayla has continued to thrive in the sport, reaching the highest level in the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympics program—level 10. Her story is one of resilience, strength, and inspiration.
Jayla’s dedication to gymnastics has led her to achieve remarkable success. In January 2023, she claimed 1st place at the prestigious Sand Dollar Invitational in Orlando, Florida, demonstrating her exceptional talent and determination. Later that year, she secured 2nd place at the Tim Rand Invitational in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. These accomplishments are just a few highlights of Jayla’s ten-year journey in gymnastics, during which she has amassed numerous accolades, all while managing the complexities of living with epilepsy.
