There’s No Wrong Way To Give

Send a kid to camp $1000 annual donation

Since 1996, Camp Boggy Creek has made it possible for children with serious illnesses to enjoy a camp experience in a safe, medically-sound environment. Located just a short drive from Orlando, Florida, the 232-acre camp serves children who’ve been diagnosed with chronic or life-threatening conditions. Beyond boundless fun, Camp Boggy Creek provides fellowship. Children can spend time with others who are just like them and share their life experiences, which serves as a reminder they are not alone. Campers ages 7 through 16 can apply to attend Camp Boggy Creek free of charge. Your donation will help send a kid to camp.

Buy emergency medication for one week for only $125

The emergency medication program is intended to work with individuals who find themselves in a situation where they cannot afford their medication whether it is a client with no other recourse for neurological care, homeless person, a newly diagnosed person leaving the emergency room with a script and no insurance, laps in insurance coverage or loss of income. Household income will be verified and compared with a sliding fee scale to determine financial responsibility if any. We need your help today to supply medicine to individuals in Florida

Send a family for a weekend retreat. $750 annual donation

$750 annual donation Twice a year camp is open to host families of children with epilepsy. The weekend retreat provides them with all the camp has to offer. They meet with the medical staff and counselors to learn more about activities. Families come to camp and experience a life changing weekend. Siblings, dads and moms get to share their experiences with others living the same day to day struggle.Make a donation today to send families to sleep away retreat at Camp Boggy Creek.

Transportation support

$20 a month will give a ride to those who cannot drive themselves due to their epilepsy. Transportation can present a daily challenge for people with epilepsy. People with epilepsy may not be able to drive or may have restricted licenses, making it difficult getting to necessary places. Not driving may limit the ability to work or attend school, to socialize or participate in community events, or get to medical or other important appointments. While public transportation may be an option for some, it may not be an appropriate or accessible option for others. Donate today to help ensure mobility to those with epilepsy.

Pay for diagnostic testing to save a life

$100 a month will help go towards a person’s diagnostic testing needs.Without these crucial testing someone with epilepsy can be misdiagnosed for years. The proper testing is needed to quickly assess the patient. Electrodiagnosis (baseline electroencephalogram -EEG); Other diagnostics procedures: MRI, CT Scan, DEXA Scan and others as medically indicated; Donate today and help save a life.

$25 per month will give 10 students much needed school supplies.​

An average family living with epilepsy cannot purchase new school supplies due to the overwhelming cost of medication, neurological appointments and lifesaving testing. Siblings, at times, feel that all the resources are used for the child with epilepsy and their needs are sometimes not met. Donate today to help families get their children needed school supplies.

Holiday meal baskets for families

$50 a month will provide ten families with meal baskets during the holidays. Due to the high cost of living with epilepsy from medication, testing, and medical visits, some of our families are limited in their meals. Why not brighten someone’s holiday with a meal basket?

Toys for kids with epilepsy and their siblings​

$20 a month will give 12 kids new wrapped toys for the holidays. As a parent when you have to decide whether to feed your child or buy a gift for the holidays it is a blessing to have someone offer a new wrapped toy.
