COLONIAL WILLIAMSBURG ON THE RANCH

New in-town location! Same transformative and unforgettable event!Β  Join the Chairwoman of Epilepsy Alliance Florida’s Board of Directors, Beth Alcalde, along with her husband Gerald, her sister and brother-in-law Drs. Mary Rose and Richard Bressman, and their entire family, for one of the year’s best and most anticipated charity events.

Join us on October 17 in your pre-Revolutionary War colonial-period finest, as we together tour a recreated β€œColonial Williamsburg”, on the ranch right here in Martin County.Β Β  Authentic touches will abound.Β  Professional musical and artistic performers from Colonial Williamsburg are flying from Virginia to Florida to regale us with their gorgeous and historically-accurate folk music and primitive square dancing.Β  What a unique environment in which to join friends and community members to support this worthy cause, in raising scholarship funds for Epilepsy Alliance Florida and their Seizure Dog Fund.Β

Rockin’ H Ranch offers indoor as well as contiguous outdoor space, offering a beautiful partially-climate-controlled and fully accessible backdrop for our festivities.Β  In addition to the all-night open bar and curated wine selection, the welcome reception will feature a selection of rum and non-alcoholic options that should transport us to the cobblestone simplicity of our country’s earliest days.Β  The ranch’s rural setting will hum with excitement against the wafting strains of our visitors’ beautiful acappella singing and among the swinging skirts of professional dancers who are masterfully trained in their period artistry.Β  We will together dine on the highest quality and thoughtfully-designed menu.Β  We are thrilled to announce that renowned and oft-sought local chef Mark Muller has agreed to imaginatively delight our guests with a curated Colonial feast, including mini beef pies, braised pork shanks with a cherry glaze, chicken corn chowder, spoonbread, catfish with spinach, assorted roasted root vegetables and fresh garden salads, capped off with an assortment of individual apple pies, tea cakes, and buttery johnny cakes with fresh fruits and cream.Β  Wandering out under the stars after dinner, some of us will choose to sing and dance the night away with our performers and DJ, while others may prefer to channel their frontier ancestry with our Colonial axe throwing games.

This will prove to be a magical night, and will joyfully feature the recently-placed Seizure Response Dogs who are helping Floridians living with epilepsy to enjoy safety and independence.Β  Don’t miss your chance to embrace this cherished tradition within our local community at this annual gala.Β Β Tickets are limited and this event sells out every single year.Β Β As such, kindly consider making your sponsorship commitments and purchasing your tickets as early as possible when sales open in the summer of 2026.Β

Thanks for being part of the fabric of the epilepsy community, and for recognizing the unique ability of trained service dogs to change lives.
